Tony Clear, Associate Professor from Auckland University of Technology is participating in an international research project exploring Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its effects on the IT workplace. This study delves into the implications of AI for IT professionals and the new competencies demanded of computing graduates.
The research, approved by the Auckland University of Technology ethics committee (23/348 AI and IT Professionals), aims to investigate how AI influences the work engagement of IT professionals. Through interviews and research participation, Assoc. Prof. Tony and his team seek to uncover insights into the complex relationship between AI, work engagement, and professional development in the IT sector.
