We are happy to announce that the 41st instance of the International Conference on Software Maintenance and Evolution (ICSME 2025) will be held in Auckland next year. The main conference plus co-located events will run from Monday, 8 September through Saturday, 13 September 2025. This is the first time the ICSME will be in NZ and only the second time in Australasia (after it was planned to be held in Adelaide in 2020, which was done virtually due to COVID-19 travel restrictions).
There will be two co-located events to be held together with ICSME:
- IEEE International Conference on Source Code Analysis & Manipulation (SCAM)
- IEEE Working Conference on Software Visualization (VISSOFT)
The conference will feature several tracks, including a Doctoral Symposium, Industrial Talks and Tools Demos. The main conference will also feature two keynote speeches from world-renowned researchers.
An event like this requires many people to get behind it to make it a success. Several SI^NZ members are already involved in organising ICSME and the other co-located events. We look forward to the support of all software engineering researchers and practitioners in New Zealand to take part and participate in the conference (through submissions or other forms of participation).
The conference website is now up and running. Please check more details here:
