ICSME 2025, held in Auckland, New Zealand from 7–12 September, was a remarkable gathering of researchers and practitioners in software maintenance and evolution. The conference featured a rich program of keynotes, research presentations, tool demonstrations, industry sessions, and the doctoral symposium, offering a platform for both established experts and emerging voices.
The event was marked by lively discussions and high-quality contributions. Beyond the technical sessions, social activities and informal exchanges created valuable opportunities for collaboration and new connections.
The success of ICSME 2025 was made possible by the dedication of the organizing committee, the hard work of volunteers, the contributions of authors and speakers, the thoughtful feedback from reviewers, and the generous support of sponsors and partners. We extend our sincere thanks to the SI^NZ members who participated and helped make ICSME 2025 such a memorable and inspiring experience, namely: Amjed Tahir (General Co-Chair), Stephen MacDonell (General Co-Chair), Matthias Galster (Program Co-Chair), Kelly Blincoe (Local Organization Chair), Jens Dietrich (Technical Briefing Chair), Daniel Alencar da Costa (Student Volunteer Chair), Sherlock A.
