Marsden Fund PhD Scholarship on Gradual concurrency: correctness, simplicity, and performance via dynamic ownership

posted in: Misc | 0

An opportunity of a Marsden Fund PhD Scholarship is available! The scholarship will pay NZD35,000 per year for three years, plus creative research & programming will also cover the student’s fees.  This scholarship is tenable at any New Zealand University, subject to meeting their enrolment conditions for doctoral study.  The scholarship student must begin their study by 1 December 2023.

This scholarship project will develop a novel theory of gradual concurrent dynamic ownership. Using languages based on this theory, programmers will be able to write concurrent programs that are safe, simple, and efficient.

More information about the scholarship can be found here. To apply for the scholarship, email James Noble at creative research & programming.
